If voters approve the School Funding Election to slightly increase our property tax rate by four pennies, taxpayers will enjoy a rate that will still be 45¢ lower than in 2018.

Thanks to the rise in the homestead exemption, recent reductions in our property tax rate, and the district's prudent financial policies, most homeowners will see a $246.81 DECREASE in their property tax bill compared to last year.

For homeowners who are senior citizens, they will never see an increase in their tax rate because of the senior citizen homestead exemption – and most will see a decrease in their tax bill because of the homestead exemption increase.
